This novel takes you through the events that led up to Quinnen’s current situation and her current emotional struggles. Flash forward one year, and Quinnen is no longer playing ball. Last year, Quinnen and her softball team were quickly on their way to the championship, with her as the star pitcher. I finally got around to reading it because this author was one of the many featured at Cincinnati’s Books by the Bank event. My coworker was telling me about this awesome book she was reading, so I obviously had to TBR it (cause there was no way I would have time to read it right away). While this is one of my more recent additions to my TBR list, it has been waiting since March of this year. ![]()
